8 weeks of school left. How did time go by so fast? Ridiculous. Here's some ways you can be praying as my time here comes to a close.
1.) Pray for my kids.
Every Wednesday and Thursday I teach 3 classes of kindergarten, plus grades 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7. Pray that the Lord would give me opportunities to speak with them about the Gospel, especially as Easter is coming up. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be working in their hearts and minds in these last few weeks of English class. Pray for my 7th graders, Lera and Artur, who often bring up spiritual things in our conversations. Pray that I would ask good questions and would rely on the Lord for when to listen and when to speak.
2.) Pray for my focus/preparation.
I'm involved in a lot here. Pray that I will be able to prioritize well and plan lessons that are fun, educational, and of course, bring people to think through their beliefs about God, humanity, and our purpose on earth. Pray for the questions I bring up in my classes and for my lesson plans.
3.) Pray for my coworkers.
Since I've been at the school, I've had the opportunity to speak with several of my coworkers about God, specifically what sets Him apart from other gods. I've also been able to share with them what being a Christian means to me. Pray that they would continue to be curious and ask questions, and that I would be able to clearly answer in a way that glorifies God. Pray that He would give me the words (as most of these conversations happen in Russian) and that in all the inabilities I have in Russian, that His strength would be shown and that He would get glory from it.
So yeah, thanks for praying.
